Hangaluro Women s Cooperative For Economic Development in Chilumba Karonga,Mwandovi Village in T/A Wasambo started with a seed money from Blue Earth Institution as a way of women s empowerment and its members contributing funds towards building their own loan package(savings &loan)These women now run a savings bank that is growing their collective capital,Building on this financial foundation,the cooperative is expanding on value addition packaging,rice,chidede(hibscus tea)fish powder and blend of spices,The agro processing advance SDG 5 (Gender Equality)SDG8(Decent Work and Economic Growth)aligned with malawi 2063 Agendas pillar on private sector. competiveness as well as Mindset Change.,Blue Earth Institution is commited in investing in Women and Youth,the enviroment and the communities in building the Malawi we want by 2063
